I’ve been thinking about doing it for a while, but I always come up with some excuse not to. I don’t have enough time. I’d rather be out running. I have nothing interesting to write. I might spell something horribly wrong. I haven’t written anything non-scientific since, like, sophomore year of college. I could embarrass myself, or worse, I could offend somebody. Did I mention I really don’t any time?
So why do it? Well, I’m hoping that by writing, and knowing the possibility exists that people might actually take the time to read what I write, my thoughts just might start to sound rational. We’ll see!
Why Blog?

Yay Annie! I’m so glad you are blogging, too! Good luck in your marathon this weekend. Can’t wait to read all about it.

I also worry that I don’t have anything interesting to say. I can’t understand why anyone would want to read a blog…
I write anyway, and verbiage comes from somewhere. More surprisingly people seem to read it. Sometimes even comment.
I’m a terrible speller, but there is a checker built in to the editor here (at least there is on my browser) — I find that somewhat consoling.
I’m glad you are writing. Have a great race!
